"The Day Buster Smiled" is the compilation of all local newspaper articles, along with candid photographs of cast and crew, during the filming of Buster Keaton's The General in 1926 in Oregon.

Produced by the Cottage Grove Historical Society, the book contains 51 pages of type and 30 pages of photos and graphics with wrap-around cover on printed glossy paper.

From the Kennesaw Civil War Museum in Georgia (home of the General itself) comes a new video "Here Comes The General". Three rare films: historic footage of the restoration for the centennial of the Andrews raid into North Georgia and the first film version of the story, shot for Kalem in 1911 are featured, plus a specially edited version of Buster Keaton's 1926 masterpiece "The General". 73 minutes of must-see for any railroad, Civil War buff or Keaton fan!
